Apex Labs is an independent New Zealand studio building three apps for Apple platforms — a navigator, a strength coach, and a training plan. Different disciplines, one conviction: robust over fragile, conservative over clever, your data on your device.

About Apex Labs
Apex Labs Limited is an independent software company registered in New Zealand. We design and build software for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple TV, with a focus on marine navigation and training for the outdoors.
Our work is grounded in real use: Waka's design decisions are made underway, on passage; Kaha and Tohe are trained with, week in and week out. We favour measured data over tuned constants, single sources of truth over duplication, and silence over false precision.
The apps share a design language and a voice — and they share their names' whakapapa. We're engaging cultural advice as the pattern work matures, because names and tohu that carry meaning deserve to be treated properly.
